Our Story

FactVault was born from a simple belief: the world is far more interesting than most people realize, and the barrier to discovering that should be zero.

We started as a small collection of facts that genuinely surprised us — things we learned that changed how we saw the world. A group of flamingos is called a flamboyance. Sharks are older than trees. Cleopatra lived closer in time to the Moon landing than to the pyramids. Each of these facts felt like a small revelation.

We built FactVault to create the definitive home for these revelations — carefully researched, rigorously verified, clearly presented, and always free. Today we publish over 1,300 facts across 8 categories, with new content added every week.
